Jehovah’s Witnesses Tract: I made a Tract that can be handed to Jehovah Witnesses when they knock on your door. This is a summary of 12 page printable booklet

Jehovah’s Witnesses teach that their organization alone can properly interpret the Bible, even claiming to be God’s prophet. However, their own literature admits that if members read only the Bible, they often reject Watchtower teachings and accept historic Christian doctrine. This is telling, as the early Christians, like the Bereans (Acts 17:11), were commended for testing all teachings against Scripture itself.

The Watchtower has made prophetic claims that failed, such as predicting the resurrection of Old Testament figures in 1925. According to Deuteronomy 18:22, a failed prophecy marks a false prophet. Furthermore, the New World Translation, their Bible, was produced by individuals without expertise in biblical languages. The head of this committee admitted in court he could neither read or translate Hebrew. Furthermore, their literature has purposely misrepresented early Christian writers to argue against the Trinity.

Yet, both the Bible and early church fathers affirm the divinity of Christ and the reality of the Trinity. For example, Jesus is called the “First and the Last” (Revelation 1:17-18), a title reserved for Jehovah in Isaiah 44:6. The Bible shows that Jesus was worshipped (Hebrews 1:6, Matthew 14:33), and He never refused such worship, even though worship belongs to God alone (Matthew 4:10).

The Watchtower’s shifting doctrines and failed prophecies stand in contrast to the unchanging truth of Scripture. Christians are called to test all things by God’s Word, not by the claims of any organization. Salvation is a gift of God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9), not by works or allegiance to any group. I urge you to read the Bible for yourself and seek the truth that sets us free in Christ.
